Traditional Paints
Using good quality traditional paint ensures a sympathetic and authentic finish for the older and historic buildings that are often found in the Cotswolds. It can also help preserve wall structure.
Most people would consider paint as a decorative feature only, however, the application of incorrect paint can cause decay in your home. Even the positive effects of lime based renders, mortars and plasters can be completely negated by the wrong type of paint.
For this reason Cotswold Colors use a variety of different traditional paints including:
- Lime Wash
- Pigment Wash
- Claypaint
Manufacturers include Dulux, Crown, Johnsons and Farrow & Ball.
